Admission to St. Augustine’s College is open to properly qualified students/candidates of any race, colour, religion, national or ethnic origin who have been able to meet the minimum requirement and placed in the school by the Ghana Education Service’s computerized school selection and placement system of admitting candidates into second cycle schools in Ghana.

Entry Requirements

St. Augustine’s College is open to all boys with a wide variety of academic backgrounds, regardless of race, breed or colour. Qualification into the College is currently, based purely on one’s performance in West African Examinations Council’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (B.E.C.E) or its equivalent. Admission is very competitive and students who present the minimum requirements are not necessarily guaranteed acceptance. Decisions are made based on the whole academic record and are subject to the availability of place in a particular programme.

 Admission of international students

Prospective international students are admitted to the school by applying through the Ghana Education Service Headquarters in Accra. All students from countries and areas where English is not their common spoken language must have a practical understanding of spoken and written language to benefit from instructions, study, and examination in that language.
